Email campaigns

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Email campaigns send outreach emails to creators from your own Gmail account or custom domain, with up to two follow-ups. An Email + Target Collaboration campaign also sends each creator a TikTok Shop target collaboration invitation (an invitation from your Shop with its own commission rate) and puts their invite link in the email.

Why use it

TikTok caps how many creators your Shop can reach each week with invitations and messages. Email Only campaigns don't count toward that weekly outreach limit, and they keep sending emails and follow-ups from your own address after you reach it.

Where to find it

  • Outreach > Email Campaigns lists your campaigns with how many emails were sent and opened, how many creators remain, and how many follow-ups went out. Each row has Pause or Resume, and Test Email and Duplicate in its menu. Until you add a sender, the page takes you to Manage Addresses. The search box, "Search by name or message...", matches a campaign's name, the subject and body of the template it sends, the templates of its follow-ups, and, on an Email + Target Collaboration campaign, its Target Collaboration Description.
  • Manage Addresses, the button at the top of the page, holds your sender addresses and their daily limits.
  • Templates are in Settings > Outreach > Email templates, also reached from Manage Templates in the menu next to New Campaign.
  • Custom domains are in Settings > Outreach > Email domains: see Connect a custom email domain.

Who can use it

Every plan. You need an active plan to start a campaign, and Email + Target Collaboration also needs your Shop authorized with the Euka TikTok Shop app.

Invitations from Email + Target Collaboration campaigns count toward your plan's outreach message allowance, like an agent's: see Plans and limits.

How to run a campaign

  1. In Manage Addresses, click Add Email and choose Connect your Gmail account or Use your custom domain. With Gmail, you sign in with Google and allow access to the mailbox.
  2. In Email templates, write a template with a Name, Subject, and Body. See "Placeholders" below.
  3. Click New Campaign and choose Email Only or Email + Target Collaboration.
  4. Pick creators under Filters, Lists, or Segments, and set Creators to exclude.
  5. For Email + Target Collaboration, set up the invitation as you would for an outreach agent.
  6. On the last step, name the campaign, choose one or more senders under Registered Email, pick the template, and add follow-ups with Add Followup.
  7. Click Create Campaign. The campaign is saved paused.
  8. Send yourself a Test Email.
  9. Click Resume to start the campaign.

Rules and limits

Senders and daily limits

Sender Daily limit to start Highest
Gmail 30 500
Custom domain address 100 1,000
  • Change a limit with Edit in Manage Addresses, or with the pencil next to a sender on the campaign's last step. Edit and Batch Limit (which sets every address to the same limit) stop at 500, so to take a custom-domain address above 500, use the pencil in a campaign or set the limit when you create the address.
  • A sender's limit covers the last 24 hours, not a calendar day, and every campaign and sequence that uses the address shares it. Follow-ups count toward it too.
  • Each campaign also has its own daily limit, set to the total of its senders' limits. Whichever limit is stricter applies.
  • Emails go out in batches: up to 10 per campaign, about every 5 minutes.
  • Test Email sends from the campaign's first sender, up to 10 times an hour per campaign.

Who gets an email

  • Only creators we have an email address for.
  • Creators this campaign already emailed are always skipped.
  • Exclude already emailed is off to start. When it's on, the campaign also skips creators your brand emailed from any email campaign in the past 1 to 90 days (90 to start).
  • Segments and lists you pick under Creators to exclude are skipped. Lists you marked as excluded in Affiliate CRM don't stop an Email Only campaign, so pick them here too.
  • Email + Target Collaboration emails a creator only after their invitation is created. Creators we can't match to a TikTok account get neither.

Placeholders

  • Anything in square brackets, in the subject or the body, is written by AI for each creator from their profile, your store, and your products. Replace template text such as [YOUR NAME] yourself, or AI fills that in too.
  • [invite link] becomes the creator's own invitation link, in the first email and the follow-ups, but only in Email + Target Collaboration campaigns. If the template has no [invite link], those emails go out without it.

Follow-ups

  • A campaign can have up to two, each with its own template. After # of Days counts from the first email, and two follow-ups can't fall on the same day.
  • They go from the address that sent the first email, and stop for a creator once we see their reply.
  • Follow-ups keep going out while a campaign is paused, and after it stops on its own. To stop them, pause the campaign, click Edit, and remove them. Deleting the campaign stops them too.

When a campaign stops

  • On its own, once it has emailed or skipped everyone it can. An Email Only campaign that targets a segment keeps running instead, and emails creators who join the segment later.
  • When a sender loses access, for example because the Google permission was removed. The address shows Disconnected in Manage Addresses: click Reauthorize, then Resume.
  • An Email + Target Collaboration campaign can stop with the error "TikTok weekly outreach limit reached", and doesn't restart on its own: click Resume after TikTok's weekly reset. See Outreach limits: TikTok and your plan. While its invitations are still being created, it waits rather than stops.
  • Edit and Delete work only on a paused campaign.

What we don't control

  • Google's own sending rules apply to Gmail senders (as of September 2026).
  • Each creator's email provider decides whether your email reaches the inbox or the spam folder.
  • TikTok sets the weekly outreach limit that Email + Target Collaboration invitations use.

When something goes wrong

  • Email sending disabled for 1 account (or more) at the top of Email Campaigns: an address lost its authorization. Click Reauthorize accounts, sign in again, then Resume the campaigns that stopped.
  • "Your email account was connected, but permission to send email was not granted": reauthorize, and allow access to the mailbox on Google's screen.
  • "An active subscription is required to start agents." when you click Resume: choose a plan in Settings > Brand > Billing.
  • "The target collaboration expiry date has passed": edit the campaign and set a later expiry date.
  • "Store must be authorized with Euka TikTok Shop App" under Email + Target Collaboration: click Install TikTok Shop App and authorize your Shop. See Connect your TikTok Shop.
  • A campaign isn't sending: open it. Campaign Health shows its daily quota, each sender's limit and authorization, and the creators left. For Email + Target Collaboration, it also shows TikTok's weekly quota, daily invites, and any cooldown.
  • "Rate limit exceeded. Maximum 10 test emails per hour.": wait, then try again.

FAQs

Can I connect an Outlook account?

No. The option is shown but can't be selected. Use a Gmail account or a custom domain.

I paused my campaign. Why are creators still getting emails?

Pausing stops new first emails, but follow-ups that are already scheduled still go out. Remove them with Edit, or delete the campaign.

Why were fewer emails sent than there are creators in my list?

The campaign skips creators with no email address, anyone it or your exclusions rule out, and, for Email + Target Collaboration, anyone without a successful invitation. Daily limits then spread the rest over several days.

Do email campaigns count toward TikTok's weekly outreach limit?

Email Only campaigns don't, and they keep sending when the limit is reached. The invitations from Email + Target Collaboration campaigns do.

Can Euka read my inbox?

Connecting Gmail gives us read and write access to that one mailbox, and Google lists the exact permissions before you approve. We use it to send your campaign emails and follow-ups and to see creators' replies.

A custom domain gives us no mailbox access. To keep outreach separate, use an address only for creators.
