Contracts

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Contracts lets you send creator agreements for e-signature from Euka. You upload a contract as a PDF, place the signature fields, and send it to a creator, or save it as a template to attach to retainer offers.

Why use it

When you agree on terms with a creator, you want them in writing and signed. Contracts sends the agreement for you and shows who has signed. A contract on a retainer offer goes out by itself when the creator accepts.

Where to find it

Go to Campaigns > Contracts. At the top, the page shows how many contracts you've sent this billing cycle.

Who can use it

Every plan includes Contracts. Retainers, where contracts attach to offers, need Growth, Business, or Autopilot.

How to make a template

A template is a contract you reuse on retainer offers.

  1. In Campaigns > Contracts, click New Template.
  2. On Choose Source, name the contract and upload it as a PDF. Download Retainer Agreement Template gives you a Word file to start from: edit it, save it as a PDF, and upload that.
  3. On Configure Fields, place Signature, Date, Text, or Initials fields for the creator. If someone from your brand signs too, tick Include brand as a signer and place their fields. Under Variables, Videos per period and Total package price are filled in from each creator's offer.
  4. Click Save as Template.

How to send a contract to a creator

  1. In Campaigns > Contracts, open the menu next to New Template and choose Send Contract Directly.
  2. Fill in Choose Source and Configure Fields, as for a template.
  3. On Add Signers, enter the creator's name and email, and the brand signer's if you ticked Include brand as a signer.
  4. On Review & Send, click Send for Signature.

A draft with signers can be sent later with Send for Signing, in its menu in the list.

How to add a contract to a retainer offer

You can include a contract wherever you make a retainer offer: a new retainer, Invite Creators, Send Offer, or a creator's rate card.

  1. Tick Include a contract with this offer, and pick a template. Create New opens the template editor in a new tab.
  2. If the template has a brand signer, check the Brand Signer name and email. They start as yours, so change them if someone else signs.

Here's how a contract on an offer works:

  • The contract goes out when the creator accepts the offer, addressed to them, with any Videos per period and Total package price fields filled in from their offer. If they accept periods on different terms, each set of terms gets its own contract.
  • The offer doesn't wait for the signature: the creator's periods start when they accept. The signing status shows in the Contract column of the retainer's Periods tab. See Retainers.
  • Changing a template changes the contracts sent from it afterward, including for offers not yet accepted.
  • Templates with Videos per period or Total package price can't be used on rate-card offers.

How signing works

  • Each signer gets an email with a link to sign. When the brand signs too, the brand signer signs first, and the creator's email comes after.
  • A contract shows Sent until everyone has signed, then Signed. If a signer declines, or the request expires, it shows Declined or Expired.
  • Void cancels a sent contract that isn't signed yet. It can't be undone.
  • Download PDF, in a signed contract's menu or on its page, downloads the signed copy.
  • Only drafts and templates can be edited or deleted. To change a sent contract, void it and send a new one.

Below the number you've sent this billing cycle, the Contracts page counts your Total Contracts, Awaiting Signature, Signed, Needs Attention (declined or expired), and Templates. You can filter the list by Draft, Sent, Signed, Declined, Voided, Expired, or Template. Click a contract to see its signers, their status, and a preview.

Rules and limits

  • Each brand can send 50 contracts per billing cycle, on every plan. Every contract sent for signature counts, including ones you later void. Drafts and templates don't.
  • The count starts again with each billing cycle, like your plan's other allowances. See Plans and limits.
  • At the limit, you can't send a contract or attach one to a new offer.
  • If a creator accepts an offer that already has a contract while you're at the limit, the offer still goes ahead, but the contract isn't sent. It's saved as a Draft, and the creator's Contract column in Periods shows Draft. Send it with Send for Signing once your count starts again.
  • Contract files must be PDFs of up to 10 MB.

When something goes wrong

  • "You have reached your contract limit. Please contact support." or "You have reached the limit of 50 contracts per billing cycle.": your brand has sent 50 contracts this billing cycle. Wait for the next one, or contact us at support@euka.ai.
  • "Invalid file type. Please upload a PDF file.": save your document as a PDF and upload that.
  • "File is too large. Maximum size is 10 MB.": make the PDF smaller.
  • "Please select a contract or uncheck the contract option.": pick a template, or untick Include a contract with this offer.

FAQs

Does a contract count toward the 50 when I create it?

No, only when it's sent for signature. A template counts each time it goes out with an accepted offer.

Do I have to sign the contract too?

You sign only if you tick Include brand as a signer. Otherwise, only the creator signs.

Does a creator have to sign before their retainer starts?

No. Their periods start when they accept the offer, and the contract is sent at the same time.

Can I attach a contract to a contest?

You can't attach one for e-signature. In the contest's Creative brief section, you can add a Brand Contract URL: a link to your terms, which creators must accept before they join. See Contests.

Where does the creator find the signed contract?

For a retainer contract, it's in the Euka creator app. Download Contract appears on the period once it's signed.
