Social accounts

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Social accounts is where you link the accounts you post from, and see at a glance whether each link is still working. Each one shows its followers and its newest posts, so you can tell straight away which account Euka is reading.

Why use it

Brands decide whether to work with you from what they can see, and Euka counts your contest videos from the TikTok account you linked. If a link quietly stops working, your videos stop counting and brands stop seeing your numbers, with nothing to tell you why. This page puts every account in one list and says which one needs you.

Where to find it

Open your Profile and tap Social accounts, under You, which opens Social accounts. The chips at the top of your Profile are the short version: a linked account's chip opens this page, and a dashed one starts linking it.

Who can use it

Every creator. You can link TikTok and Instagram.

Instagram needs a Creator or Business account. A personal Instagram account can't be linked.

How to link an account

With nothing linked yet, the page leads with Start with TikTok, because contests count the videos you post there and programs that ask for TikTok let you join in one tap.

  1. Tap Link TikTok, or Add account once you have one linked.
  2. In Add an account, pick the platform.
  3. Sign in to that account and allow the permissions it asks for.
  4. You come back to Social accounts, and the account appears as a card with its handle, photo, followers, and newest posts.

You can link more than one TikTok account: Add an account offers TikTok again, as Add another account you post from. A platform that has nothing left to add reads Already linked.

What each card tells you

  • The handle, photo, and follower count, read from the account itself.
  • Its newest posts, with views where the platform gives them. Instagram doesn't give views.
  • Whether the link works. A card that needs you says what's wrong and what to do about it.

At the top of the page, one chip says All connected or, when something is wrong, how many accounts need you. A second chip counts your accounts.

What a card says What it means What to do
Expired The platform ended the link, which happens in the normal course. Reconnect
Permissions missing You didn't allow everything Euka needs. Finish, and allow all of it
Couldn't connect Linking didn't complete. Reconnect
Connecting… The link is being set up. Nothing. Give it a moment.
Disconnecting… The link is being removed. Nothing. Give it a moment.

An account's options

Tap a card to open its options:

  • Works for contests, on a working TikTok account, with either "Picked first when you join a contest" for the account you signed in with, or "You can pick it when you join a contest" for the others.
  • Not usable for contests yet, with "Contests can't count videos from this account yet". Relinking doesn't change it, so contact us at support@euka.ai if you need that account to count.
  • Partnership ads connected, on an Instagram account that has it, with "Brands you authorize can run ads with your posts".
  • Open in TikTok or Open in Instagram opens your profile on the platform.
  • Reconnect signs you in again to refresh the link.
  • Unlink @yourhandle, at the bottom, removes the account.

Rules and limits

  • Contests count the videos you post from a linked TikTok account, and the account you signed in with is picked first.
  • Unlinking Instagram also removes its brand authorizations. Brands running partnership ads will need you to authorize them again after you reconnect.
  • Unlinking TikTok takes nothing else with it, and you can link it again any time.
  • Reconnecting an account that already works does no harm: it refreshes the link.
  • A brand may know you by a particular account. Connecting a different one doesn't let you into their program. See Joining a brand's program.

What we don't control

TikTok and Instagram decide how long a link lasts, what it is allowed to read, and what your profile says (as of October 2026). A handle you changed on the platform catches up here on its own, and a link they end shows as Expired until you reconnect it.

When something goes wrong

  • Couldn't load your accounts, with Try again: your accounts didn't load. Tap Try again.
  • Couldn't unlink this account, with "Try again in a moment.": nothing was removed. Try again.
  • Already linked in Add an account: that platform has nothing left to add.
  • Sign in to show your posts on Instagram: we have the handle but not a working sign-in, so there are no posts to show. Tap it and sign in.

FAQs

Why do contests need my TikTok account linked?

Because that's how we know which videos are yours. A contest counts the videos you post from a linked TikTok account, so without one there's nothing to count.

Can I link two TikTok accounts?

Yes. Tap Add account, then pick TikTok again under Add another account you post from. When you join a contest you pick which account you're entering with, and the one you signed in with is offered first.

Why can't I link my Instagram account?

It has to be an Instagram Creator or Business account. You can switch yours in the Instagram app, then come back and link it.

I unlinked Instagram by mistake. What happens to brands running ads with my posts?

Reconnect the account, then authorize those brands again: unlinking removed the authorizations, so they need fresh ones before they can run new ads with your posts.

My follower count here is out of date.

We read it from the platform, so it catches up on its own. If it stays wrong, Reconnect the account from its options.
