Social Intelligence

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Social Intelligence shows what sells in your TikTok Shop market: the top brands, products, categories, and creator videos by sales (GMV), and the creators behind them.

Why use it

It's hard to see what's selling for other brands in your market, or which creators and videos drive those sales. Social Intelligence lets you size up competitors, spot products and hooks that work, and build creator lists from what already sells.

Where to find it

Social Intelligence in the sidebar has five pages:

Tabs at the top of each page switch between them. Click a row to open that brand, product, or category.

You can also ask about your market in Copilot, or in an AI tool connected to Euka (see Use Euka in Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools). Both read the same brand, product, category, and video data.

Developers can read it through our API, with a key from Settings > Integrations > OpenAPI keys.

Who can use it

Social Intelligence is on every plan. What differs is how much each brand can do per billing cycle: see the plan allowances further down.

It covers TikTok Shop in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Japan, and opens on the market your Shop sells in. The menu appears only when your Shop is in one of those countries or in Ireland.

What each page shows

  • Top Brands ranks brands by GMV for the period you pick, with the change from the previous period of the same length, their number of videos, units sold, and average selling price. Filter by category or search by name. Star a brand to keep it under Favorites.
  • Top Products ranks products the same way and shows when each was First listed. The launch-date filter keeps only products first listed in the last 3, 7, or 30 days.
  • Top Categories ranks top-level categories over the Last 7 days or Last 30 days, with units sold and Avg. GMV / shop.
  • Top Videos ranks creator videos by GMV, views, GMV growth, or ads ROAS (return on ad spend). Narrow it by category, product, or keyword, and under Filters by video GMV, creator followers, ads ROAS, and Video type (AI-made or not). Each video shows its GMV for the period, the creator's GMV over the last 30 days, views, likes, and comments, and More metrics opens shares, GMV growth, ads ROAS, ad revenue ratio, ad view ratio, and the creator's follower count.
  • Discover Trends starts from a topic. Search a keyword, such as "probiotics", to see videos posted in the last 30 days that mention it, ranked by GMV, views, or newest. Below the search box, Top videos by GMV related to your products shows other Shops' top videos about products like the one you pick, followed by Top hooks in your niche and Content inspirations.

Choosing a category

Top Brands, Top Products, and Top Videos share one category picker. It opens on All categories and lists the market's top-level categories, with the number of subcategories beside each one. Click the arrow to open a category and pick a subcategory, or type in Search categories to find one at either level. Once you pick one, the picker shows its full path, such as Beauty & Personal Care › Skincare. The X on the picker clears your choice.

Subcategories are fetched a few at a time, so a first open can say Loading more subcategories… while the rest arrive. You can pick a top-level category straight away. Top Categories and the category pages work at the top level only.

Playing a video on Top Videos

Click the play button on a video to watch it without leaving the page. One plays at a time, and the X closes the player. Turning the page stops it.

Some videos have no file we can play. The section then says "This video can't play here." and gives you Open on TikTok. Playing a video counts towards your brand's weekly caps, below.

Brand, product, and category pages

  • A brand page shows how many products the brand has, and its average selling price, units sold, GMV, and videos for the period. Its product list has the same launch-date filter.
  • A product page shows average selling price, units sold, GMV, creators, videos, and LIVEs for the period. It also shows the listing description when we have it, and a Creative playbook: the top hooks, selling points, and video formats in the market's videos for it.
  • A category page shows GMV, units sold, Shops, and active products. It also has a creative playbook and its Market leaders (brands and products).

Each of these pages has a Creators section, which ranks creators by the GMV they drove for it in the period, and a Videos section with the creator videos linked to it. The Creators section also has an items sold column, headed with the length of your period, such as Items sold (30d). On a brand page it counts units of that brand's products the creator sold, on a category page units of that category's products, and on a product page units of that product. A dash means the market data gives us no figure. Brand and product pages also show Creator demographics (gender and language of the creators behind the leading videos) and Audience demographics (their followers' gender and age).

Open any video to see Revenue, last 365 days, Views, last 365 days, Lifetime likes, and Lifetime comments, plus the units sold in the last 365 days next to the product it promotes. These come from the market data for the video's market, measured the same way for every Shop, so they don't match what that seller sees in their own dashboard. A dash means the market data doesn't track that video. You also get our analysis of it: key idea, hooks, selling points, call to action, target audience, engagement techniques, sentiment, and transcript.

How to research a competitor

  1. Go to Social Intelligence > Top Brands and pick a period.
  2. Search for the brand, or browse a category.
  3. Open the brand. You see which products carry its GMV and which are new.
  4. Under Creators, narrow the list with Filters.
  5. Click Add creators to list to save them for outreach, or click Export CSV.
  6. Under Videos, open the top videos to read their hooks and selling points. A product's Creative playbook sums these up across its videos.

In the Add creators to list dialog, Creators who posted in decides how far back we look for the creators to add: Selected dates, which is the page's own period and the default, 90 days, 180 days, or All time. The day options end on your period's last day, so they always include it, and each one shows the dates it covers. Pick a wider window when a 30-day period gives you a shorter list than you expected. A category page uses its own dates and doesn't offer the choice.

Sales events such as Black Friday inflate GMV, so for hooks that keep working all year, pick a period outside them. To work with the lists you build, see Creators and lists.

Rules and limits

  • Periods: Top Brands, Top Products, Top Videos, and the brand and product pages take any period of up to 30 days, ending yesterday at the latest. Top Categories and category pages offer the last 7 or 30 days.
  • Search: the search boxes on the pages need at least 2 characters and are free. A Discover Trends search needs at least 3 characters and uses one of your plan's searches.
  • Exports: Export CSV runs in the background. When the file is ready, download it from Export history, the button next to Export CSV. One export holds up to 100,000 videos or 30,000 creators.
  • Exporting a subcategory: on Top Videos, Export CSV is turned off while a subcategory is picked, and hovering it says "Export is available for top-level categories". Pick the top-level category, or a product, to export.
  • Weekly cap: each brand also has weekly caps on Social Intelligence use, such as 100 video exports and 1,000 video plays a week. Your whole team shares them, and so do Copilot and AI tools that work for the brand. They reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC.
  • Markets: there is no Irish market data. For an Irish Shop, most pages say Market not supported, and Top Brands opens on the United States. To research any other market, contact us at support@euka.ai.

Plan allowances

What each brand can do per billing cycle depends on its plan:

Per billing cycle Starter, Pro, and Business Growth and Autopilot
Discover Trends searches 2 Unlimited
Brand and product pages opened, combined 5 Unlimited
Adding creators to a list (each time counts once) 2 Unlimited
  • Opening a page you already opened this cycle doesn't use up another one.
  • Starter and Pro brands whose affiliate GMV (sales by the creators who promote your products) over the last 30 days is under $2,000 get Growth's unlimited allowances. So does any plan with the Social Intelligence add-on.
  • Exporting creators doesn't use an add-to-list action, but it stops working once those actions are used up.
  • If you manage billing for a single brand, the Plans tab of Settings > Brand > Billing shows what you've used under Your Usage. Products Viewed and Brands Viewed share the same 5.

For everything each plan includes, see Plans and limits.

When something goes wrong

  • Market not supported: we have no Social Intelligence data for your Shop's country.
  • Market data is temporarily unavailable on a brand or product page: "Our market data provider is slow to respond right now. Try again in a few minutes." Nothing is wrong with your Shop or your plan.
  • Choose a date range of 30 days or less: shorten the period.
  • Brand detail is not available on this plan or Product detail is not available on this plan, and the page sends you back to the list: your brand has opened its 5 brand and product pages for this billing cycle. Wait for your plan to renew, or upgrade.
  • Subscription required, saying your quota has been reached: your brand has used this cycle's Discover Trends searches or add-to-list actions.
  • Weekly quota reached: your brand hit its weekly cap. It resets on Monday at 00:00 UTC. Click Contact support if you need more.
  • Search or pick a brand, product, or category to see videos: enter a search on the Discover Trends results page.
  • Categories could not be loaded. in the category picker: we couldn't reach the category data. Close the picker and open it again, or refresh the page.
  • "This video can't play here." in a Top Videos section: there's no file we can play for that video. Click Open on TikTok to watch it there.
  • Not indexed yet on a video: we haven't indexed that video yet, so there's no transcript or analysis.

FAQs

Why can't I see Social Intelligence in my sidebar?

The menu shows only when the Shop you're working in sells in the US, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Italy, or Japan. For other markets, contact us at support@euka.ai.

Why doesn't a brand's GMV match its Seller Center?

Social Intelligence measures every Shop in the market the same way, so its figures can differ from what that seller sees in Seller Center, where they manage their Shop on TikTok. For your own Shop's numbers, use the Dashboard.

Do searches use up my plan's allowance?

Only Discover Trends searches do. A search on Top Brands, Top Products, Top Categories, or Top Videos is free, and so is a keyword filter on a page.

Can I look at more than 30 days at once?

No. Pick any period of up to 30 days. To follow a longer trend, compare one period with the next.

Can I narrow Top Videos to a subcategory?

Yes. Open a top-level category in the category picker and pick the subcategory under it. One thing to know: Export CSV only works at the top level, so pick the parent category when you want the file.

How do I find the creators who sell for a competitor?

Open the competitor's brand or product page. Its Creators section ranks everyone who sold it in the period by GMV, and you can filter them, add them to a list, or export them.
