Outreach agents
Last updated: October 7, 2026
An outreach agent contacts the TikTok Shop creators you choose: it sends each one an invitation to promote your products, a DM (direct message), or both. It follows up on its own and keeps going until you pause it or it runs out of creators.
Why use it
It's a lot of work to invite creators by hand and follow up with the ones who don't reply. An agent sends the invitations, messages, and follow-ups for you. You choose who it contacts and what it says.
Where to find it
Outreach > Outreach Agents has two tabs:
- Outreach Agents lists agents that target creators with filters, and agents that target a list and send an invitation.
- CRM Agents lists agents that target a segment, and agents that target a list and send only a DM. See Segments and CRM agents.
So a Message Only, Message + Photo, Message + Open Collab Product Card, Message + Spark Code Form, or Message + Creative Brief agent aimed at a list is under CRM Agents, and the two Target Collaboration types are always under Outreach Agents. When you create an agent that belongs under CRM Agents, we take you to that tab.
Who can use it
Outreach agents are on every plan, and you need an active plan to start one. On Starter and Pro, what your outreach agents send counts toward a message allowance for each billing cycle, and CRM agents have an allowance of their own. See Plans and limits.
The seven agent types
TikTok Shop calls the invitation an agent sends a target collaboration. It asks a creator to promote your products at the commission rate you set.
| Agent type | What it sends |
|---|---|
| Target Collaboration + Message | A target collaboration invitation, then the invitation's product card and your message as a DM. |
| Target Collaboration Only | The invitation only, with no DM and no follow-ups. |
| Message + Open Collab Product Card | A DM with an open collaboration product card, then your message. The product must be in Open Collaboration, TikTok Shop's setting that lets any creator promote it. |
| Message Only | Your message. |
| Message + Photo | Your message with one photo, as a JPG or PNG. |
| Message + Spark Code Form | Your message with a link to the creator's own Spark Code form. A Spark Code is a code from the creator that lets you run their video as an ad. See Spark Codes. |
| Message + Creative Brief | Your message, followed by a link to a creative brief. |
A Message + Spark Code Form agent targets a list or a segment, not filters. The app groups the first three types as Agents for Outreach and the other four as Agents for Re-engagement.
How to create and start an agent
- Click Create New Agent.
- Enter an Agent Name.
- Pick the agent type.
- Under Creators to target, choose Filters, Lists, or Segments.
- Add any Creators to exclude. Final creator count shows how many creators the agent will contact. See Who an agent contacts.
- For a type that sends an invitation, set up the invitation.
- For a type that sends a DM, write your message.
- Set the message's sending options and follow-ups.
- Click Create Agent. The agent is saved with the status Stopped.
- Click Resume on the agent's row to start it.
How to delete unaccepted invites
TikTok limits a Shop to 10,000 active target collaborations. To make room, delete the invitations no creator has accepted:
- Click Delete Unaccepted Invites under Active Target Collabs, at the top of the page.
- If we ask you to authorize the Euka TikTok Shop app, click Authorize App.
- Set Delete invites sent before, which starts at a week ago.
- Choose up to 5 products under Filter by products.
- Leave Delete invites with 0 creators accepted and Delete invites with 0 creators posted ticked to delete only invitations that no creator has accepted or posted for.
- Click Do Dry Run. You see the invitations that match.
- Click Delete. This can't be undone, and invitations a creator has already accepted are skipped.
What the Outreach Agents page shows
Each agent's row shows Creators Reached, with how many creators are still remaining, and its Sample Requests, Request Rate, Videos, Revenue, and Status. You can switch between Active and Archived agents, or turn on Running only.
The search box, "Search by name or message...", matches an agent's name and the words it sends: its message, its Immediate Follow Up, its follow-ups, and its Target Collaboration Description. That way you can find an agent by a line you remember writing, even when you can't remember what you called it.
At the top of the page:
- Target Invites Sent and Messages + Follow-ups Sent count what your agents sent in the last 24 hours.
- Active Target Collabs shows your Shop's active target collaborations out of TikTok's 10,000, with Delete Unaccepted Invites (see above).
- TikTok Weekly Outreach shows how much of TikTok's weekly outreach limit you've used. See Outreach limits.
Click an agent to open its page. It shows the agent's Configuration and Activity Log, and for agents with products, its Sample Requests, Videos, and Outreach Analysis.
Rules and limits
The invitation
- In the markets where the Euka TikTok Shop app is available, invitations go through the app, so it must be installed and authorized. Without it, an agent that sends invitations stays Running but sends none. See Connect your TikTok Shop.
- Offer free samples is on to start, so each invited creator can request a free sample of every product in the invitation. Choose Manually Review Requests, the default, or Auto Approve Requests.
- Invitation Name can be up to 30 characters. Creators don't see it.
- Products needs at least one product, each with a Commission Rate from 1% to 80%. An agent with no products, or with a product that has no rate, won't save or start, whether you set it up in the app, through Copilot, or from an AI tool. When an older agent is missing a rate, its product section shows the box to fill in, starting at 20%. To set a separate rate for sales that come from Shop Ads, TikTok's ads for Shop products, turn on Include Shop Ads Commission Rate. That rate is also 1% to 80%.
- Valid Until must be a date after today, and it's set 90 days ahead to start. When an invitation expires, creators lose its shoppable video link, so the app suggests at least 3 months. An agent whose date has passed won't start until you change it.
- Email Address is where creators can reach you. Content Type is Shoppable video, Shoppable LIVE, or No preference.
- Target Collaboration Description can be up to 500 characters. Words such as Amazon, WhatsApp, Gmail, Snapchat, and "flash sale" aren't allowed.
- Creators you have already invited decides what happens to creators who already have one of your invitations. See Who an agent contacts.
Messages and follow-ups
- The message, the Immediate Follow Up, and each follow-up can be up to 1,800 characters long. The Immediate Follow Up goes right after the message, for example with a link.
- An agent sends at most 2 follow-ups, which you add with + Follow Up Message. Each one goes out the number of days you set after the previous message.
- Follow-ups stop for a creator who replies. On a filter or list agent, they also stop when the creator requests a sample from that agent. On a segment agent, they also stop when the creator leaves the segment.
- AI Message Enhancement is on to start, so we fill in every [bracketed] placeholder for each creator. With it off, we fill in only a single name placeholder, such as [creator first name], used once. A message with any other bracketed text won't save.
Sending
- Time Range is off to start. Turn it on to send only between the times you set, in the time zone you pick. Outside those hours, the agent shows Running with a clock icon.
- Daily Sending Limit is off to start. Turn it on to cap how many creators the agent contacts in any 24 hours, from 1 to 10,000. Follow-ups don't count toward it.
- Time Range and Daily Sending Limit are part of the message setup, so Target Collaboration Only agents don't have them.
- Your plan also sets how many outreach messages your agents can send a day. See Plans and limits.
- When several agents are running, they take turns. Set as High Priority, in the ⋮ menu on an agent's row, gives that agent about half of the sending turns and marks it with a flame icon. One agent per brand can be high priority, so choosing another replaces it.
Statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Running | It's sending, or it's waiting for its sending hours, its daily limit, or its turn. |
| Stopped | You paused it, or we stopped it, for example because it ran out of creators or your plan's message allowance is used up. |
| Error | A problem stopped it. Hover over the badge to read the message. |
| Restarting | It hit a temporary problem, and we restart it automatically. |
Every 12 hours, we set agents in Error back to running so they try again. Agents stopped by TikTok's weekly outreach limit are the exception: they wait for you to click Resume. See Why an agent isn't sending.
Editing and removing agents
- Edit works at any time. Changes take a few minutes to reach a running agent, and new follow-up days or a new Valid Until date apply only to what hasn't been sent yet.
- Pause stops an agent, though a few queued messages may still go out.
- Duplicate and Archive work only on a stopped agent. A duplicate is saved as stopped, with "(Copy)" after its name. An archived agent moves to Archived, and you unarchive it to start it again.
- Delete, on the agent's page, works only on a stopped agent that has never sent a message or invitation. It can't be undone.
- Some message agents can be converted into a sequence. See Sequences (Beta). A converted agent shows Converted to sequence and can't be started again.
What we don't control
TikTok limits how many new creators your Shop can reach each week, how many active target collaborations it can have, and how many DMs an unconnected creator, one who hasn't replied to you yet, can get (as of September 2026). A bigger Euka plan doesn't raise these limits. See Outreach limits.
TikTok also decides how your invitations and messages look to creators, and whether it accepts the products in an invitation.
When something goes wrong
- If an agent shows Error, hover over the badge, then see Why an agent isn't sending.
- Agent has no creators left to message, when you click Resume, means the agent has contacted everyone it can. Widen its filters, add creators to its list, or create a new agent.
- If you see Target collaboration expiry date has passed, edit the agent and set a new Valid Until date.
- "Target collaboration needs at least one product and a commission rate for every product.", when you save or resume an agent: open Edit, add a product if it has none, set a Commission Rate in every product section, and save. The agent stays stopped until you do.
- If you see "Contains [bracketed placeholders] that would be sent to creators as-is", turn on AI Message Enhancement, or replace the bracketed text with your own words.
FAQs
How many creators will an agent contact each day?
There's no fixed number. It depends on the agent's Daily Sending Limit, your plan's daily limit, TikTok's weekly outreach limit, and how many other agents share the sending turns.
Does an agent contact the best creators first?
A filter agent starts with the matching creators who have the highest affiliate sales (GMV) over the last 30 days. List and segment agents don't rank creators. See Who an agent contacts.
Will a duplicated agent contact the same creators again?
Yes. A copy starts with no history of its own, so it can reach creators the original already contacted. To skip creators your Shop contacted in the last 1 to 90 days, turn on Exclude already messaged in the copy.
Why can't I delete my agent?
An agent that has sent even one message or invitation can't be deleted. Archive it instead to move it out of your list.
My agent says Running but nothing is going out. What's wrong?
Usually it's waiting for its sending hours, a daily limit, its turn, or new creators. See Why an agent isn't sending.
